22 Leadership Development Tips

The following practical leadership skills were developed by previous student leaders and faculty advisors at BYU-Idaho and modified to tailor to fit the needs of the iLead Leadership Certificate. There are many points of leadership; however, attention has been given to four areas. These tips will provide you and your teammates with clear, succinct instructions on a variety of leadership issues. These tips can also be used as training aides, providing practical guidelines for your team members and information for you to use in your role as a team leader.
