Managing or dealing with your organization's budget is a big deal. This responsibility can get you and your organization quickly into trouble. Understand that ultimately you are accountable for your team's actions.

Practice
Your assignment is to talk to the supervisor or director of your organization and ask how they determine where and how resources get allocated. Are there criteria for projects or events to determine how much money and other resources they will receive? Write and submit a paragraph about what you learned. (Submit your assignment)

Respond to the following questions:
- Identify a time that you used money allocated to your organization. What did you use the money for? Was it necessary? Why?
- Did your organization stay within its budget? How can your organization continue to stay within its allocated budget?
